Music maestro A. R. Rahman unveiled the Hindi trailer of 99 Songs, the romantic musical that marks his debut as a writer and producer. The film released in cinemas on 16 April in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy in his directorial debut, 99 Songs introduces newcomer Ehan Bhat in the lead, alongside Edilsy Varghese and Tenzin Dalha, with an ensemble cast that includes celebrated names from across Indian cinema.
The trailer offered a first glimpse into the film's world — a young musician's journey through love, loss and the relentless pursuit of his art, set to an original soundtrack composed by Rahman himself.
Produced by A. R. Rahman under YM Movies in association with Jio Studios, 99 Songs was conceived as an experiential film where the music is inseparable from the story.
